Offering Our Hands and Feet as Living Sacrifices to God

This powerful message invites us to consider our bodies as living sacrifices, focusing specifically on how we offer our hands and feet in service to God. Drawing from Hebrews 13, we're reminded that our worship extends beyond words of praise to tangible acts of doing good and sharing with others. The teaching beautifully establishes that before we can offer anything to God, we must first acknowledge what only His hands can accomplish: creation itself, our spiritual circumcision through Christ, the promise of resurrection, and the establishment of His eternal kingdom. From this foundation, we explore what it means to present working hands that provide, skilled hands that create, strong hands that persevere, supplicating hands that pray, and serving hands that minister. The message challenges us to examine whether our hands are pure, whether our feet are piloted by God's Word, and whether we have beautiful feet that proclaim the gospel. Perhaps most movingly, we're reminded of the praying hands—whether the story behind the famous artwork is true or not—that symbolize sacrifice and intercession. The call is clear: God doesn't need our service, yet He invites us to participate in His work, using whatever skills and gifts we possess right where we are, whether across the world or simply across the street.
